Matrix
Matrix is a collaborative messenger platform similar to Signal or WhatsApp—except that all data stay on our university servers. The messenger works both in the browser and via apps available for all common operating systems and mobile devices. A popular client for laptops and mobiles is Element, available for every modern OS.
Login
Log in at matrix-web.mh-freiburg.de with the username and password of your university account. Save the private key the first time you sign in; it provides extra authentication for the messenger.
