Matrix
Matrix is a collaborative messenger platform, similar to Signal or WhatsApp, except that all data remains encrypted with us at the University of Music Freiburg. The messenger can be used both in the Browser and via apps that are available for all common operating systems and mobile devices. A popular client for laptops and mobile devices is Element, which is available for all modern operating systems.
Log in at matrix-web.mh-freiburg.de with the username and password of your University account. Save the private key when logging in for the first time. It serves as additional protection with which you authenticate yourself to the messenger.
