Glarean
Glarean is the teaching and learning platform of the Freiburg University of Music. It is based on the open-source software platform Ilias, which is used at numerous educational institutions, including the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität and the Pädagogische Hochschule in Freiburg.
To log in to Glarean, use the username and password of your university account.
For help with the full range of platform features, first consult the official
manual. Otherwise, an internet
search using the keyword ilias will yield many helpful results.
A brief overview
For more information on getting started with Glarean, see the first steps.
The most important areas in Glarean are your personal dashboard and the homepage. The dashboard shows the current status of your group and course memberships and is the quickest way to access your courses. Via the homepage you can reach all other areas of Glarean, such as the public area. At the top of the homepage you will also find periodic announcements and news about the platform and digital teaching at the university.
